Here to Stay

This illustration is for an article titled, "Here to Stay." I really love drawing the camouflage-type bark on this kind of tree, which I believe is an American sycamore. They're all over the city and I often see their trunks and branches enveloping signs and fences, much like they're growing over the axes in this piece.
